Job Description

• Lead the financial management of the education department, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Implement strategic plans that align with the company's growth objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Direct and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Work collaboratively with senior management to optimise financial performance.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external financial queries.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Deputy Head of Finance should have:

• A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACA.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the finance department of a recruitment consultancy or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to present complex financial information in a clear manner.
• Experience in strategic planning and financial management.
