Job Description
- Lead the financial management of the education department, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Implement strategic plans that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Direct and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Work collaboratively with senior management to optimise financial performance.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external financial queries.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Deputy Head of Finance should have:
- A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACA.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the finance department of a recruitment consultancy or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to present complex financial information in a clear manner.
- Experience in strategic planning and financial management.
