Central Manchester / Hybrid

We’re working with a well‑established insurance broker seeking a Deputy Head of Compliance to join their team in Manchester city centre . This is an exciting opportunity for a compliance professional to take on a senior role within a growing business. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with three days per week in the Manchester office.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will support the delivery of the firm’s compliance framework, ensure regulatory standards are met, and provide guidance across the business. You will also contribute to operational improvements and strategic initiatives with occasional travel to other sites in the business.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Compliance in managing all compliance matters and providing guidance across the business.
  • Deputise in the Head of Compliance’s absence, maintaining oversight of monitoring, reporting, and advisory activity.
  • Maintain the compliance monitoring plan and produce regular reports for senior management and board meetings.
  • Coordinate file audits, manage escalations, and ensure follow‑up actions are completed.
  • Oversee complaints and breaches, managing investigations and ensuring timely resolution.
