A local government council in London is seeking a Deputy Head of Cabinet Office to support cabinet members and manage communications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in executive support roles and a strong understanding of the political landscape. This full-time position offers a salary range of £58,461 - £60,573 per year and requires the right to work in the UK.

Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity as Deputy Head of Cabinet Office available on a full time working pattern basis. Ealing has a strong and dynamic political leadership team that are committed to delivering excellent public services for the borough whilst be at the cutting edge of policy innovation across the local government and wider public sector. This role sits at the heart of the political leadership of the council supporting cabinet members in delivering their vision for the borough.
The Deputy Head of Cabinet Office manages the direct support to cabinet members as well as taking a leadership role in the wider function of the cabinet office team. The postholder will ensure co-ordination of the crosscutting support that is offered to all cabinet members. They will also ensure that cabinet members priorities and policies are reflected across the organisation and ensuring all cabinet level communications are consistent and reflect the overall strategic message of the administration.
Working closely with the Strategic Director of Strategy and Change and contribute to the delivery of the Council Plan on time and to budget in alignment with emerging administration priorities.
