Job summary

The Gainsborough Bath Spa, part of YTL Hotels, is seeking a Deputy Head Housekeeper to lead and develop the housekeeping team within a luxurious, five-star setting. You will partner with the Housekeeping Manager to drive excellence in presentation, cleanliness, and guest experience across both bedrooms and public spaces.

As our Deputy Head Housekeeper, you'll play a key role in ensuring our bedrooms and public areas consistently reflect the exceptional standards our guests expect from a five-star hotel. Working closely with the Housekeeping Manager, you'll lead, support and motivate the Housekeeping team, creating a positive working environment where attention to detail, teamwork and pride in our hotel are at the heart of everything we do. Alongside maintaining outstanding standards of presentation and cleanliness, you'll support the smooth day-to-day running of the department. This will include managing costs and resources effectively, supporting budget preparation, monitoring standards and ensuring compliance with health and safety, fire, hygiene and employment requirements.
