Qualifications

• Experience at Assistant Harbour Master level or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards UK Harbour Master Certificate.
• Practical vessel operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations at the harbour.
• Manage marine works applications and maintain navigational safety.
• Deputise for the Harbour Master when necessary.

Skills

Proven marine operational experience

Strong understanding of harbour and port navigation safety management

Stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Education

Diploma for Harbour Masters (Lloyd’s Maritime Academy or similar)
