Are you currently a Hotel Operations Manager or Deputy General Manager ready for the next step?

We’re looking for and experienced Hotel Operations Manager or Deputy General Manager to be our Deputy General Manager for our Resort Hotel in Hampshire.

Providing exceptional guest service and hospitality is our passion; our guests and members are at the heart of everything we do.

Your day to day;
  • Managing key operational teams (food and drink, conference, housekeeping, reception, spa and spa treatments, Guest Service) ensuring the highest levels of guest experience are provided at every touch point
  • Reporting directly to the General Manager, and alongside the Leadership Team, you will deliver the operational and sales strategy for all areas
  • Working closely with the Heads of Department to support recruitment, retention and training
  • Lead, motivate and develop all of your Departmental Managers to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Drive revenue and profitablity thorugh effective cost control and proactive sales initaitves
  • Complete monthly P&L reviews with your managers, reporting results and actions to the General Manager
  • Ensuring smoth day to day running of the business, driving revenue, maintaining standards and leading by example.
  • Foster a postitive, people focused culture that prioritises guest satisfaction and employee engagement
Who are we looking for?

As a key member of the Leadership Team, we are looking for an experienced, dynamic and commercial individual whose sole focus is enhancing the guest journey and experience, whilst leading our front of house, food and drink, spa and spa treatment teams. You will have proven experience in an Hotel Operations Manager role with strong leadership skills where you will inspire and develop teams.

You will have a thorough understanding of the industry and market place, being aware of the challenges and opportunities. you'll be commercially astute with a track record of driving financial performance.

Being skilled in delegation and multi-tasking is essential. The role of Deputy General Manager covers a number of departments in which you will develop your teams, mentoring and driving a strong commercial culture whilst offering that very best guest experience to all.

You will contribute to the overall operation of the hotel by having a high level of presence within the business, completing operational management shifts and deputising for the General Manager in their absence. You'll be genuinely passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

This role is suitable for someone with at least 2 years experience in an Operations Manager role in Four Star Hotels.
