Job summary

Arabelle Solutions is seeking a Deputy EHS Manager to support the EHS Manager in leading the Environmental, Health & Safety Management System across Hinkley Point C project activities. You will ensure compliance with UK regulations, CDM 2015 and Nuclear Licence conditions, acting as deputy across operations and leadership when required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National Diploma or NEBOSH General Certificate with senior nuclear / major project construction experience.
• CDM Regulations 2015 knowledge (Contractor duties).
• ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 Lead or Internal Auditor.
• CMIOSH or CertIOSH recognised lead incident investigation qualification.

Responsibilities

• Act as the designated deputy for the EHS Manager across leadership, governance and site operational requirements.
• Represent Arabelle Solutions at senior leadership forums and cross-contractor coordination meetings.
• Lead and mentor the site EHS team with clear work allocation and performance standards.
• Monitor compliance with Site EHS Plan, Safety Rules, Permit to Work systems and RAMS.
• Support commercial and risk management activities with EHS insights.
• Drive subcontractor EHS assurance through audits, site inspections and health surveillance.
• Lead investigations for all EHS events and track corrective actions to closure.
• Provide EHS metrics, risk reports and executive dashboards.
• Oversee EHS training, toolbox talks and workforce engagement initiatives.
