Government Recruitment Service is recruiting for Deputy Director, Capital Works for the National Biosecurity Centre (NBC) Programme in Exeter. The role is to act as the overall client-side lead for enabling and infrastructure works to ready the Weybridge site for 2027 construction and for ongoing maintenance.

The post holder will work with the NBC Programme Director, manage governance, approvals, and change control, and build relationships with APHA, Defra Group Property and other stakeholders

Responsabilités

• Act as overall client-side lead for capital project delivery for NBC.
• Manage investment decisions, procurement, and payments.
• Lead benefits realisation across the programme portfolio.
• Maintain stakeholder engagement with APHA and Defra Group Property.
• Develop workforce strategy and recruitment for Weybridge capability.
