Job description

Would you like to work for an expanding health and social care organisation providing high-quality accommodation and support to young people aged 16+ and opening anew OFSTED registered 14+ children's home? Do you have Level 3 or Level 5 Children and Young People qualification? If so, this Deputy CYP Service Manager could be just the job for you. There is a starting salary of up to £40,000 and benefits including free parking, on call payments, a company vehicle for site visits, on call payments, pension scheme and excellent career prospects.

What will you be doing as a Deputy CYP Service Manager:

Working from their office in North Wales or Liverpool, you will assist with the day-to-day leadership of teams across Merseyside and Flintshire offices as well as a couple in South Wales. Duties will include:

• Supporting the service manager in leading 16+ Supported Accommodation services in line with Ofsted Supported Accommodation Regulations (2023)
• Assisting in overseeing the quality of care and support across multiple solo placements
• Providing day-to-day operational leadership across 2 offices
• Contributing to strong safeguarding practice and ensuring staff follow regulatory requirements
• Supporting the set-up, development, and registration of an Ofsted-registered 14+ Children's Home
• Assisting with policy development, paperwork, and compliance required for registration and readiness
• Covering the regular staff supervision, coaching, and development
• Supporting the coordination of rotas, staffing cover, and team deployment across services
• Supporting quality assurance processes, audits, and service improvement initiatives are being met
• Assisting in building and maintaining strong working relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and external agencies
• Helping ensure that all services consistently meet regulatory, contractual, and organisational standards

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in CYP with Level 3 or 5 Children and Young People qualification
• Experience working in 2 of the following: a regulated OFSTED service, 4Cs or supported accommodation
• Either possess or willing to undergo a DBS check
• A full current driving licence
• Passion for improving outcomes for young people
• Flexible approach
• Willingness to develop leadership and management competence
