Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Deputy Chief Operating Officer to work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and drive the operational leadership of the Trust. You will lead across four Clinical Divisions to ensure delivery of activity, performance trajectories, and patient flow, while overseeing Organisational Resilience, RTT, cancer standards, and emergency care delivery.

Qualifications

Senior operational leadership experience in a large health provider.
Proven track record delivering statutory and national performance standards.

Responsibilities

Lead four Clinical Divisions to ensure delivery of activity, trajectories and performance.
Provide professional leadership to Directors of Operations.
Oversee Organisational Resilience, emergency preparedness and on-call arrangements.
Support Gloucestershire broader system collaboration through the GPP.
Contribute to Deputy Executive Network and organisational development.
