Job summary

Get Golfing at Sherfield Oaks Golf Club is seeking a Deputy Clubhouse Manager to support the Clubhouse Manager in day-to-day operations, delivering a welcoming, high-standard service to members, guests and visitors.

This hands-on role covers bar, restaurant, terrace and function areas, staff supervision, stock control, events and compliance with hygiene and licensing. The successful candidate will lead shifts and assist with training and stock management.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in hospitality or supervisory/assistant management role.
• Experience working in a busy hospitality environment.
• Experience supervising or supporting a team.
• Good knowledge of food & beverage service and customer care.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the bar, restaurant, terrace and function areas.
• Deliver consistently high standards of food, beverage and customer service.
• Supervise the team during service, including briefings and shift allocation.
• Support the delivery of golf societies, functions and member events.
• Deal with day-to-day member and guest queries professionally.
