A leading Learning Disabilities charity is seeking a Deputy Manager to oversee services in the Ealing and Harrow areas. The successful candidate will develop activity programmes for Children and Young People with disabilities and lead a dedicated team. A Level 3 qualification in Childcare and 4 years of experience are required. This role offers a salary of £31,000 plus benefits, promising career development in a progressive environment.

Qualifications

  • 4 years' experience in Childcare sector with 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Awareness of SEND and PBS.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle desirable.

Introduction

Forest Care Selection are delighted to be working with a leading Learning Disabilities charity in London. This innovative provider is seeking a Deputy Manager to assist in the oversight of their innovative service in the Ealing and Harrow areas delivering a range of activity programmes for Children and Young People with a Learning Disability. This is a unique opportunity for childcare professional to assist in the development of a new service.

Responsibilities
  • Promote the values of the organisation in all interactions.
  • Develop and oversee activity programmes in various forms for Children and Young People.
  • Lead a team of Session Leaders and Playworkers to assist in providing the best outcomes for Children and Young People with a Learning Disability.
  • Create Person Centred support plans for the Children and Young People and support the team to deliver these.
