Responsibilities
  • Support the Chief People Officer in creating and delivering the Trust’s Brilliant People Strategy and People & Culture Plan.
  • Lead on workforce transformation, organisational development, and cultural change across a large, complex NHS Trust.
  • Provide strategic leadership across all areas of HR, including employee relations, workforce intelligence, and business partnering.
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion, and help embed a culture where everyone feels valued and empowered.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and represent the People Directorate at executive and board level.
  • This role is ideal for someone who is ready to step into a broader leadership position and is looking to progress to a Chief People Officer role in the future.
Education & Qualification (Essential)
  • Degree level education or equivalent qualifications
Knowledge & Experience (Essential)
  • Extensive post-qualification experience gained in all areas of Human Resources
  • Extensive Experience of leading service and/or Transformational change
  • Track record of delivery at Director/senior Management level, including exposure at board
  • Knowledge and experience of the NHS
