Job description

We have an exciting opportunity now available in the Monifieth area for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN Adult or RMN), joining the team at a local care home as their Deputy Manager.

The team provides high-quality nursing and respite care for residents whose needs vary across a wide spectrum (including both age-related and more complex health conditions), at a home with a vibrant community atmosphere.

Residents enjoy the highest levels of comfort – including fresh seasonal menus, landscaped gardens, bright social spaces, and a packed entertainment programme – within a historic, carefully-adapted setting.

As Deputy Manager, you’ll oversee the delivery of optimal nursing care across the home and assist with operational duties. You’ll monitor compliance, assure quality and supervise clinical practice so that each resident sees the very best care and quality of life possible.

  • Essential: Registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (RN Adult / RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
  • Essential: Strong clinical skills and experience within elderly care, to include the preparation of care plans.
  • Essential: Previous clinical team leadership experience, such as from a previous Clinical Lead / Unit Lead role.
