We're looking for a Deputy Care Home Manager to support the Home Manager in leading our friendly and dedicated team at Simon Marks Court Care Home in Leeds.

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the home delivers outstanding care to our residents. You'll lead by example, support staff development, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the home. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior carer, team leader, or deputy looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment.

What You'll Do
  • Support the Home Manager in the overall management of the care home.
  • Ensure high standards of person-centred care.
  • Supervise and mentor care staff, supporting professional development.
  • Oversee care planning, audits, and compliance with CQC standards.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external agencies.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous leadership experience in a residential or nursing care setting.
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • A caring, proactive approach and strong organisational skills.
  • Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures.
  • A team player with a genuine commitment to high-quality care.

Simon Marks Court in Lower Wortley, Leeds is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 40 residents.
