Overview

Depot/Service Engineer — Northampton Area

Hours - Monday to Friday (Apply online only)

Salary: Circa £40k plus Overtime + Pension (after probation)

My client, a well-established and highly respected leader in their field, is expanding their operations and looking to recruit a Depot Engineer to join their experienced and friendly workshop team near Northampton, to service and repair plant and equipment on site.

Responsibilities
  • As Depot Engineer you will maintain, repair and inspect telehandlers, forklifts etc
  • Carry out work in the yard on new and used machinery
  • Repair and diagnose customer machinery
  • Provide Loler/Puwer inspection certifications
  • Liaise with the Service Department to estimate and advise on equipment repair costs and repair timescales
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Visit customer sites if required

  • Willingness to learn and adapt - manufacturer training will be provided
  • Commitment to high standards of quality and safety
  • Reliable, honest & trustworthy
  • Man management skills and experience to oversee the Workshop Engineers and Apprentice
  • Full UK driving licence
  • IT skills - knowledge of Google Docs/MS Office
