The role offers a flexible 1 day per week schedule on a self-employed basis, with a predominantly private patient base and access to modern endodontic equipment.

About the role

• Working pattern: 1 day per week, with flexibility on which day on a self employed basis.

• Patient base: Predominantly private fee-per-item patients.

• Start date: As soon as possible, with flexibility for candidates who need to give notice.

You’ll have the opportunity to provide advanced endodontic treatment, managing cases that may be more complex than those typically undertaken within general dental practice.

Working alongside the existing clinical team, you’ll benefit from internal referrals and the opportunity to develop relationships with colleagues who can identify patients requiring additional endodontic expertise.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a GDC-registered Dentist with a Special Interest in Endodontics who is passionate about delivering high-quality endodontic care and achieving excellent clinical outcomes.

You’ll have additional training, qualifications and experience in endodontics, with confidence in assessing and managing more complex root canal cases. Experience using a dental operating microscope and modern endodontic techniques would be beneficial.

A calm, approachable and patient-centred manner is essential, alongside the ability to explain treatment options clearly and reassure patients who may be anxious. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with the wider dental team and building positive relationships with colleagues and referring clinicians.
