The University of Bristol's Bristol Dental School seeks exceptional Dental Therapists to join our team and deliver education and clinical teaching to undergraduate Dental Hygiene and Therapy students.

You will supervise Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene students during clinical placements in our General Practice Suite, work with academic colleagues to enhance the student experience, and develop teaching activities to ensure an outstanding student journey.

Formación

• Experience of teaching would be advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to foster collaborative approaches across clinical disciplines.
• Passion and enthusiasm for teaching.

The role

We are seeking exceptional Dental Therapists to join our team and deliver outstanding education and team training to our Dental Hygiene and Therapy students at Bristol Dental School. Working within your Scope of Practice you will be responsible for the delivery of academic and clinical teaching to our undergraduates, working in an integrated teaching environment.

What will you be doing?

Part of our education strategy is to have a strong emphasis on integrating learning across all disciplines and team training. The appointee will initially be responsible for the clinical supervision of Dental Therapy (BDT) and Dental Hygiene (BDH) students. For BDT/BDH students this concept starts in the Clinical Skills Simulation Clinic and culminates in clinical placements within the Community and clinics in our purpose-built General Practice Suite alongside Final year BDS students. The appointee will develop other teaching and learning activities, working alongside academic colleagues to deliver an outstanding student experience.
