Job summary

PortmanDentex seeks a friendly Receptionist for Walker & Associates Dental & Implant Clinic in Faringdon. You will be the first point of contact, delivering warm, professional service to patients and supporting the reception team.

Typical shifts are Thursday and Friday 8am–5pm with a 1-hour lunch, and the role offers a competitive hourly rate with benefits including a bonus scheme and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Previous front of house Reception experience (ideally within a dental or healthcare setting)
• A positive attitude, empathetic and well-organised
• Great communication skills, with a passion for delivering great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/out in a friendly, professional manner
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries and direct callers appropriately
• Coordinate appointments, manage the reception desk and maintain a welcoming waiting area
