Job summary

Dental Beauty Partners is seeking a Dental Receptionist for our Harrow practice. This part-time role offers a friendly, family-oriented team and a convenient location accessible by public transport near Harrow-on-the-Hill.

Join our clinicians and support staff led by our Partners. You will work on a rotating schedule including Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, with duties spanning reception, bookings, payments and GDPR compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of dental receptionist experience preferred.
• Front of house or medical coordination experience acceptable.
• Dentally software experience preferred but not essential.
• Ensure CQC requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality reception and administration service to ensure patient satisfaction and contribute to practice efficiency.
• Answer telephone calls and handle patient enquiries in a positive, efficient and friendly manner.
• Schedule patient appointments in Dentally and manage diaries for the clinical team.
• Collect and record patient payments and pursue debts per policy.
• Ensure compliance with the DBP Information Governance Policy and GDPR.

Dental Beauty Partners are currently seeking a Dental Receptionist to join us at our lovely mixed practice, Dental Beauty Harrow. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and family-orientated practice & nursing team in the Harrow area.

You will be joining a fantastic team of clinicians and support staff, led by our Partners Dr. Rakesh Sharma and Dr. Purvi Sharma, who all work together in harmony to deliver a brilliant patient journey. The practice is very accessible via public transport, close to Harrow-on-the-Hill underground station.

Hours

Mondays: 8AM-5:30PM

Thursdays: 10AM-7PM

Fridays: 7:30AM-5PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a high-quality reception and administration service to ensure patient satisfaction & maximum contribution to practice efficiency
• Answering the telephone and dealing with patient enquiries in a positive, efficient and friendly manner, with a focus on going the extra mile
• Schedule patient appointments in accordance & effectively managing the diaries of our clinical team; all through our software system, Dentally
• Collect and record patient payments and pursue any debts in accordance with the practice payments policy
• To ensure compliances with DBP Information Governance Policy and GDPR

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Ideally 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist, within a private or mixed practice
• If no dentistry experience, then a background within a front of house, customer service or medical coordinator role
• Dentally software experience is preferred but not essential
• Ensuring CQC requirements are met at all times
• Experience in providing exceptional patient care/customer service
