A leading NHS hospital trust in Mexborough seeks a full-time Specialist Doctor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The role involves attending clinics, delivering paediatric services, and supervising junior doctors. Applicants should have a relevant medical degree and significant clinical experience. Applications are invited for a Specialty Doctor in a substantive full‑time post in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will join a close‑knit team of three consultant surgeons and four specialist doctors. A special interest and previous experience in delivering a paediatric exodontia service would be beneficial.
The OMFS service is based primarily at Montagu, but also operates at DRI and Rotherham General Hospital. Doncaster Royal Infirmary is the largest site and hosts general emergency surgery. Major elective and emergency OMFS surgery is conducted at Rotherham District General Hospital.
The appointee may be required to work across trust sites and will not be expected to participate in any on‑call rota at present.
