Job summary

Rodericks Dental Partners is hiring a Qualified/Apprentice Dental Nurse at St Georges Dental Practice in Chorley. You will assist dentists, prepare instruments, maintain infection control, and support patients through their visit.

We offer NHS/private patient mix, ongoing training, and a supportive team across 220+ practices. Uniform, indemnity, GDC, and DBS paid are included, with extra holiday and a personal day each year.

Qualifications

• GDC-registered Dental Nurse with current PIN.
• Strong communication skills in a clinical setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Comfortable in a clinical environment, including procedures with blood/surgical treatments.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment and materials.
• Uphold infection control standards and surgery cleanliness.
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks.
• Promote oral health and advise patients on dental care products.
• Contribute to a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff.
