Job summary

Envisage Dental in Winchester is seeking a qualified Dental Nurse to support clinicians in delivering outstanding patient care at a fully private practice. You will provide chairside assistance, maintain high cross-infection control standards and help create a comfortable patient experience.

Qualifications

• A qualified Dental Nurse with current GDC registration.
• Friendly, professional and patient-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of cross-infection control, clinical safety and patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while using initiative.
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent patient care.
• Knowledge or experience of dental implants is advantageous but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing chairside assistance to dentists during a variety of dental procedures.
• Preparing, cleaning and sterilising instruments in line with cross-infection control.
• Ensuring surgeries are clean, organised and fully equipped for each appointment.
• Supporting patients throughout treatment and helping them feel comfortable.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and completing documentation.
• Following health and safety, infection prevention and control procedures.
• Monitoring and maintaining dental equipment, instruments and supplies.
• Working with the wider team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
• Contributing to high standards of clinical governance and patient confidentiality.
