Job summary

Impress in Manchester is seeking an experienced Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. You will support clinical work, perform 3D scans and X-rays, and help maintain digital patient records. The role requires GDC registration and proficiency with EMRs and intra-oral scanners such as iTero. Full training is provided and a flexible schedule may be required.

A pro-active, English-speaking team player with good written communication should apply; travel between clinics may be needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a dental setting assisting dental professionals.
• Experience with EMRs, X-rays, intra-oral scanners and digital file management.
• Valid work permit for the country of operation and compliance with dental healthcare laws.
• Typing at least 40 words per minute and strong written communication.
• Able to stand 8 hours, lift up to 45 lbs and handle small instruments.
• Willingness to travel between clinic locations and work a flexible schedule.
• Fluent English for internal communication.
• Collaborative, empathetic and positive attitude in a evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence: Perform 3D scans, X-rays, oral hygiene, sterilization of instruments, and coordinate material preparation.

• Patient Operations: Lead patient reception, articulate treatment procedures, and ensure accuracy of clinical data in our digital systems.

• Clinic Management: Support front desk duties, daily management tasks, and maintain a seamless flow between doctor and patient.

• Quality Standard: Deliver "Impressive" results through self-motivation, leading by example and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Prior experience in a dental setting assisting dental professionals.

• Technical Proficiency: Experience working with EMRs, X-rays, intra-oral scanners, and digital file management.

• Work Authorization: Valid work permit for the country of operation and full compliance with all dental healthcare laws.

• Hard Skills: Proficient typing (40 words per minute) and strong written communication.

• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for 8 hours, coordinate movement of small instruments, and lift up to 45 lbs.

• Mobility & Availability: Ability to travel between clinic locations and work a flexible schedule (including nights, holidays, and weekends) based on business needs.
