Job summary
Rodericks Dental Partners in Yeovil is seeking a Qualified/Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our team at Becket House. The role covers 40 hours per week, focusing on supporting dentists, maintaining instruments, and ensuring high infection-control standards.

Qualifications
- Qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse
- Confident and professional communication
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Comfortable in a clinical environment, including procedures with blood or surgery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Caring, compassionate approach to patients and colleagues
- Proactive attitude towards learning and development
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials
- Uphold high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness
- Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks
- Promote and advise patients on oral health and dental care products
- Contribute to a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team
