Job summary

Private Dental Practice is offering an Apprentice Dental Nurse position designed to launch a rewarding career in dentistry. No prior experience is required as full training, mentoring and support will be provided throughout development.

You will work closely with qualified dental professionals in a patient-facing role, gaining hands-on experience across all areas of dental nursing while building confidence and skills for a fully qualified Dental Nurse.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English.
• No prior experience required; full training and mentoring provided.
• Dental Nurse (Integrated) Level 3 training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and clinicians during a range of dental treatments.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and reassured.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure equipment is ready for use.
• Clean, sterilise, and maintain instruments per infection control standards.
• Follow health, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times.
• Support patients with pre and post treatment guidance.
• Update patient records using computer systems.
• Help manage appointment flow and support the practice operations.
• Assist with basic administrative duties as required.
