Job summary

Aspiration Training is offering a Dental Nurse Apprenticeship where you will receive ongoing support, development and training to qualify and start a career in dental nursing.

Your day-to-day includes assisting the dentist, setting up and cleaning surgery, sterilising instruments, updating patient records and maintaining equipment.

The apprenticeship combines practical paid work with online theory taught by Aspiration Training, with regular teaching and 1-2-1 sessions.

Qualifications

• Undergoing dental nurse apprenticeship with practical and theoretical training.
• On-the-job training during paid working hours.
• Online theory delivered by Aspiration Training with regular teaching and 1-2-1 sessions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in treatments from simple check-ups to advanced specialist treatments.
• Provide patients with a high level of care.
• Set up and clean the surgery; sterilise instruments.
• Update patient records; maintain equipment.
• Prepare instruments and materials for various treatments.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures.
