ARC Dental Surgery in Blackpool is offering an Apprentice Dental Nurse position. The role provides on‑the‑job training leading to a Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing, with opportunities to gain experience handling patients and supporting clinicians.

The apprentice will work around 37.75 hours per week at a wage of £302.00 per week, with duties spanning reception, chairside assistance, and practice support.

Qualificações

• On-the-job experience related to dental nursing duties.

Responsabilidades

• Reception of patients.
• Recording of treatment including charting from the dentist's instructions and other clerical work.
• Preparation of filling materials, impression materials, instruments and equipment.
• Cleaning away used instruments and maintaining a tidy surgery.
• Provide first aid treatments for collapses or injuries.
• Assist in x-ray procedures, blood tests and bacteriological tests prep.
• Triage of patients attending for emergency treatment.
• Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients.
