Job summary

Community Dental Services CIC is seeking a dedicated Dental Nurse for a part-time, permanent role at Witham Health Centre. The post offers 15 hours per week with a starting salary around £28,392 per year, pro rata for part-time hours, and a range up to £31,157.

You will provide dental treatment and preventative care to diverse patient groups, including those with additional needs, and may assist across clinics in the county with GA, sedation, domiciliary care and screening tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have UK professional registration at the time of appointment.
• Experience as a dental nurse in NHS or similarly structured clinics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dental treatment and preventative care to patients.
• Support multiple clinics as needed across the county.
• Assist with general anaesthetic, sedation, domiciliary care, screening and epidemiological surveys.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will deliver dental treatment and preventative care to patients and clients of Community Dental Services. Essex clinics provide dental care for many groups in the community including patients with additional needs.

You may be required to support other clinics across the county and assist with general anaesthetic, sedation, domiciliary care, screening and epidemiological surveys.
