Job summary

mydentist in Peterlee is recruiting a part-time Dental Nurse to join our busy NHS and Private dentistry team. The role offers 16 hours on Monday and Friday or 24 hours across Monday, Tuesday and Friday, with training and career development supported by our Academy.

The practice features 5 surgeries, modern equipment including an intraoral scanner and digital radiographs, and a friendly, experienced team. Parking is free, and extensive post-qualification development is available.

Qualifications

• Evidence of dental nursing experience.
• Ability to support clinicians during a full range of treatments.
• Professional registration with GDC required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians to deliver high‑quality dental treatments.
• Help ensure smooth running of the surgery.
• Engage with patients to provide care and reassurance.

You’ll be joining us at our Peterlee practice located in Peterlee Town Centre.

The working pattern for this role is part time either, 16 hours Monday and Friday Or Monday , Tuesday and Friday 24 hours

• 5 surgery practice offering both NHS & Private treatments including Invisalign, Tooth Whitening, Composite Bonding and Hygiene appointments.
• 10 clinicians working full and part time including a full time Dental Therapist and part time Hygienist
• Practice is equipped with the latest equipment including Intra oral scanner & digital radiographs.
• Supportive and experienced practice manager, with a dedicated & loyal team
• Benefitting from a convenient location, located in the town shopping centre with the bus station less than 5 minutes walk away,
