Hours: BankContract Evening and Weekends

Base: WhitegateDrive Health Centre, Blackpool

Overview of Role:

£17.67 per hour withenhancements for weekends and bank holiday shifts.

Bank/Zero Hourscontract, flexible rotas, most nurses alongside other employment. Looking forapprox. 1/2 shifts per week, and able to cover occasionally at short notice.

o Monday to Friday:5.45pm - 9.30pm

o Saturday & BH:10:15am - 6pm

o Sunday: 10:15am -6pm or 2:05pm - 5:50pm

Main duties of the job

The Service aims to provide patients with treatment to relieve pain, swellings, and the management of Injuries/Traumas. Caring and Compassionate personality is extremely important. Confident dental nurse able to work as a team in a busy, and sometimes unpredictable environment.

Job responsibilities

Day to Day Duties to include, but notexhausted:

To perform high quality dentalnursing in a safe and effective manner alongside the dentist, within the scopeof practice of a dental nurse.

Confidentand competent dental nurse with working in a busy, and sometimes unpredictableenvironment.

Goodorganisational and time management skills here is invaluable.

Being able to think on your feet butremaining polite and professional is essential; there are sometimes difficultsituations that may arise where you may need to take the lead. Adaptability isessential.

Confident in working with variety ofdifferent staff, it wont always be the same team members your rostered with.

Ability to calm and reassure nervousand anxious patients a large portion of our service users havent seen adentist in a long time and usually come to us as a last resort.

Its essential you are able to workwithin a team and be a trustworthy member.

High standard of infection controland be up to date with HTM01-05.

To establish and maintain productiveworking relationships with all members of the dental team, supporting &helping one another.

Contribute with suggestions andideas to make improvements in quality and outcomes for patients.

Assist with any reasonable dutiesrequested.
