Job summary

PortmanSmile Clinic Ilkley in Ilkley is seeking a proactive Dental Nurse to join our orthodontic team and support patient care in a modern clinic. You’ll work with specialist orthodontists and therapists, in a nurse-led environment with opportunities to grow within the practice.

We welcome qualified applicants with GDC registration; orthodontic experience helps but full training is provided. Competitive pay from £13.50/hour and a comprehensive benefits package apply.

Are you ready to step into a new challenge in a friendly and modern setting? If so, we’ve got a vacancy at our welcoming Portman Smile Clinic Ilkley practice in Ilkley.

• Full-time hours available (we can also consider part-time)
• Typical shifts: Monday 8am-5pm, Tuesday 8am-6pm, Wednesday 8am-5pm, Thursday 8am-1pm, Friday 7.30am-4.30pm
• Competitive hourly rate from: £13.50 per hour
• Specialist Orthodontic practice, caring for both NHS and private patients
• Well-equipped surgeries, working alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists
• Opportunity to work independently within our nurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice

About You

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration
• A positive and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients
• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
