Job summary

PortmanDentex invites a qualified Dental Nurse to join The Dental Academy, Daresbury, on a maternity cover contract. You’ll support clinicians, work within nurse-led clinics and maintain the high standard of patient care from start to finish.

We offer a competitive hourly rate (£13–£14), free on-site parking and fully private practice facilities with implants, general and cosmetic dentistry. Training and career development are supported throughout your time with us.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• A positive and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills.
• An implant nursing experience is helpful, but not essential - full training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians and ensure patient experience is outstanding from start to finish.
• Work independently within nurse-led clinics and within your scope of practice.

Job Description

Great dentistry needs great dental nurses, and that’s where you come in!

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly & experienced team at The Dental AcademyinDaresbury.

The essentials:

• Option to take the hours back in the week for Saturdays worked, or have them as extra hours to bump up your pay
• Competitive hourly rate between £13-£14in line with experience
• Free parking on site
• Fully private practiceoffering a range of treatments including implants, general and cosmetic dentistry.
• Opportunity to work independently within ournurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice

Please note: this is a maternity cover role on a fixed term contract until March 2027, with potential to extend to a permanent role for the right candidate.

You will play a key role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring our patients receive an outstanding experience from start to finish.
