Job summary

Rodericks Dental Partners Group is recruiting a qualified Dental Nurse for Johnson Dental in Chester. The role involves assisting dentists, maintaining instruments, infection control, and supporting patients through their visits in a busy 25-hour-per-week schedule.

You will work across a multi-surgical practice using Dentally software, provide compassionate patient care, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a friendly, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse
• Confident and professional communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Comfortable working in a clinical environment with potential blood or surgical treatments
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Caring, compassionate approach towards patients and colleagues
• Proactive attitude towards learning and development

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials
• Uphold high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks
• Promote and advise patients on oral health and dental care products
• Play an important role in creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team
