Job summary

PortmanDentex in Abingdon is seeking a qualified Dental Nurse for a part-time role in a 3-surgery orthodontic practice. You will work with NHS and private patients, and support specialist orthodontists and therapists.

You will have the opportunity to work independently within nurse-led clinics, with full training provided and parking available on site. A GDC-registered dental nurse is required and a caring, team‑oriented attitude is essential.

• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 3-surgery specialist orthodontic practice serving NHS and private patients.
• Collaborate with Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists, with scope to work independently in nurse-led clinics.
• Provide excellent patient care and maintain high standards of infection control and record keeping.

• Part-time hours available

• Typical shifts: Tuesday and Thursday 07:45-17:00

• Competitive hourly rate from: £14

• 3-surgery, specialist Orthodontic practice, caring for both NHS and private patients

• Modern and well-equipped surgeries, working alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists

• Opportunity to work independently within our nurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice

About you
