Job summary

Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) is seeking a Dental Educator (Quality Improvement) to join the Quality Improvement team in Wales. The role focuses on developing and delivering high-quality educational resources to support quality improvement across the dental workforce in South East Wales.

Working within HEIW’s QA framework, the post holder will collaborate with colleagues to meet team objectives, engage a wide range of stakeholders, and travel across South East Wales as required.

Qualifications

• Educational skills essential for teaching and developing dental education programmes.
• CPD evidence indicating ongoing professional development and learning.
• Postgraduate qualification or equivalent specialist knowledge relevant to dental education and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Commission, develop and deliver quality improvement educational initiatives for the dental workforce.
• Plan, deliver and assess QI initiatives, providing educational support to dental teams and leaders.
• Work autonomously, applying knowledge of local and national policy on CPD for the dental workforce.
• Collaborate with QI Educators to design and deliver new QI initiatives across Wales.
