Job summary

Bupa Dental Care in the United Kingdom is seeking a Dental Clinical Supervisor to oversee dental student clinics and mentor learners in the clinical practice. The role involves supervising student treatment, giving feedback, and supporting academic development within the practice setting.

The post requires a BDS or equivalent and full GDC registration with at least 3 years of post-graduate experience. Teaching experience is desirable and term-time weekly commitments are specified.

Qualifications

• Teaching or mentoring experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide active supervision and assessment of dental students in supervised clinics.
• Give constructive verbal and written feedback using the UoM tool.
• Offer academic and pastoral support as advisor or reviewer.
• Participate in clinical and non-clinical student assessments.
• Attend staff training sessions when possible.
• Cover student clinics across clinics if needed and manage patient expectations.
