Job summary

Henry Schein is seeking an enthusiastic dentist for a self-employed role in Felixstowe. The position combines NHS and private work, with an immediate start and schedule on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. You will assess patients, plan treatments, and perform procedures from preventative to complex restorations.

Working with a professional team, you will manage patient care, maintain records, and contribute to practice development and high quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• BDS or equivalent required.
• GDC number and Performer Number or equivalent.
• Indemnity and CPD log/PDP documentation required.
• Computer skills and experience with dental software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detailed records.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative, periodontal, restorative treatments and extractions as needed.
• Develop treatment plans and discuss options with patients.
• Collaborate with nurses, hygienists, therapists and receptionists.
• Assist in practice management and team coordination.
