Job summary

MediCruit is seeking an enthusiastic dentist to work in Derby in a mixed NHS and Private setting. The role is self-employed with Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday workdays and an immediate start based on experience.

You will provide a full range of dental services, create treatment plans, and work closely with the team to deliver high-quality care while supporting practice management and patient records.

Qualifications

BDS or equivalent and GDC/Performer numbers required.
Indemnity and CPD PDP records needed.
Computer skills and experience with dental software and applications.

Responsibilities

Provide treatments such as preventative, periodontal, restorative, root canal and extractions.
Assess patient oral health and develop treatment plans.
Collaborate with dental nurses, hygienists and therapists, and support practice management.

Pay Scale – UDA rate and private split based on experience

We are searching for an enthusiastic, experienced and excellent dentist who can provide a range of services to our patients.
The dentist will create rapports with patients, assess their oral health, provide treatment plans.
You will provide treatments such as preventative treatment, periodontal treatment, restorative treatment, and handle complex procedures, such as root canal treatments and extractions.
You will work closely with other staff members, such as dental nurses, hygienists and therapists, to provide our patients with high quality care. You should also work in a team with dental receptionists and managers, and be able to assist in the management of the practice.

To be successful in this post, you should be caring, communicative, and experienced in diagnosing and treating dental ailments.
You should also be skilled with the various tools and procedures needed to provide a high standard of dental care and to ensure the oral health of our patients.

Additional experience or certifications may be required.
