The University of Glasgow is seeking a Demonstrator to support bioinformatic analysis and R programming for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will supervise students, demonstrate workflows, and assist with exercises and workshops.
Working on a fractional, fixed-term basis, you will help develop teaching materials, provide feedback and support health and safety in the laboratory, and contribute to the university's teaching objectives and international profile.

To demonstrate the use of bioinformatic analysis and R statistical programming that may form an element of an undergraduate or postgraduate course of study in line with specific learning objectives, set by others.
To oversee students carrying out such analysis, exercises etc and offer assistance as appropriate.
A1 SCQF Level 10 (Honours degree) in a relevant subject or a cognate discipline, or equivalent

Salary will be Grade 5, £28,031 - £31,236 per annum pro rata.
