A leading luxury elderly care provider is looking for a Senior Care Assistant to monitor the wellbeing of residents and deliver high standards of personal care. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ 3 in care, 2 years of experience, and strong communication skills. This position requires a supportive attitude and flexibility in responsibilities. This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be aware of any changes impacting care and care plans, ensure new needs are met, and amend written records to reflect variations. You will be involved in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations. You will also support residents with their medication requirements, undertake staff supervisions and support staff development, and act as a key point of contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing.
