Job summary

Silver Lodge Care Home is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant in Leeds to support residents with complex dementia and health needs within a purpose-built 40-bed facility. You will follow individualized care plans, promote dignity and wellbeing, and build trusting relationships with residents and staff.

The role offers an hourly rate of £12.71, flexible contracts (11–44 hours per week), paid DBS, pension, uniform and onsite parking, plus 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata).

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A calm, patient and resilient attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a complex care environment.
• NVQ2 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with complex needs, including dementia and mental health conditions.
• Follow individual care plans and structured routines to promote dignity and wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with residents and respond to changes in wellbeing.
• Deliver care safely and consistently, collaborating with the wider care team.
