Job summary

Harbour Healthcare is seeking an Activities Assistant in Bristol to join our team. The role is 22 hours per week with every other Saturday, paid at £12.72 per hour, based in Bristol.

You will help plan and coordinate resident activities, work with a dedicated team, and support residents living with dementia. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in residents, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate participation in activities, with opportunities to grow within

Qualifications

• Experience working with residents living with dementia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to motivate and engage residents in activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organising and coordinating activities tailored to individual and group needs.
• Book external entertainers and arrange community trips.
• Contribute to planning varied activity programmes to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Maintain records of resident participation and update needs.
• Participate in fundraising events and staff meetings.
