Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in demand planning, sales management or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and numerical understanding, ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficient in using ERP systems and demand planning tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • Ability to identify problems and develop solutions to optimise processes.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and support colleagues.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Demand Forecasting: Create and manage demand forecasts based on historical sales data, market analysis and business trends. Regularly adjust forecast to account for market changes and new trends.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct detailed data analyses to identify patterns and trends. Prepare reports and presentations to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure optimal inventory levels through close collaboration with the purchasing and warehousing teams. Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages and excess inventory.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with the sales, marketing and logistics department to ensure smooth product availability. Support the planning and execution of sales promotions and marketing campaigns as well as managing product phase‑in and phase‑out.
  • Strategic Planning & S&OP: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales. Identify market opportunities and risks and devise measures to increase sales and minimize inventory costs.
  • Customer Analysis: Analyze customer behavior and market demand to develop targeted sales strategies. Support the development of customer retention and loyalty programs.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement measures to improve demand planning and processes. Continuously review and adjust processes to increase efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Assess and manage risks related to demand forecasts and strategies. Develop and implement measures to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in demand planning, sales management or a similar role. Experience with planning and analytical tools (e.g. SAP APO, IBP, Excel).
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills and numerical understanding, ability to interpret complex data. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Software Knowledge: Proficient in using ERP systems and demand planning tools. Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. BW, Power BI) is an advantage.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in German and English, ability to collaborate effectively with various departments. Ability to clearly and concisely present analyses and results.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify problems and develop solutions to optimise processes. Proactive approach and ability to work under pressure. High degree of assertiveness.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate within a team and support colleagues. Openness to feedback and willingness to continuously improve.
