Qualifications

  • Reviewing sales/production forecasts for managed portfolios.
  • Coordinating import activities and managing phase-in/out situations.

Job Description

I am working with an award winning business based in North Manchester, they are a global manufacturer and are looking to add a demand planner to their team. This person has to have previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment, dealing with suppliers and other sites, concurrently within Europe and the far east.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for achieving agreed SFD, Stock levels and CSL, monitoring ICSL, SSL for the managed portfolio.
  • Ordering items from production sites, suppliers and co-packers and following up deliveries in order to fulfil the sales and production plan on time, first time.
  • Maintaining and periodically reviewing the master data in SAP and IPB to implement adequate forecasting models, replenishment and stock strategies.
  • Communicating, managing and solving actual and potential supply issues.
  • Reviewing the Sales/Production forecast of managed portfolio of a country or group of countries on short, mid and long term in quantity or value.
  • Managing co-packing activities with a main focus on availability, saving costs, production schedule and raw material replenishment.
  • Coordinates import activities.
  • Ensures the sales forecast input from other department is on time and accurate (Launches, promotions and delisting)
  • Preparing data for the bi-monthly reviews and consensus meeting
  • Managing SCM related tasks of quality issues
  • Manages phase-in/phase-out situations and SLOBs
  • Continuously improves operational efficiency (Process improvements, new SCM solutions, support central tenders)
