Job description

Ready to turn data into decisions and forecasts into future wins? A powerhouse in the consumer goods sector is on the hunt for a sharp, curious, analytically gifted Demand Planner who loves patterns, puzzles, and perfectly balanced spreadsheets. You’ll be joining a high-performing Operations team, working closely with an experienced Demand Planning Manager who will help you stretch your skills, sharpen your thinking, and shape the bigger picture for the UK business. If you geek out over forecasting accuracy, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and get a small thrill from a beautifully executed pivot table we’re basically already friends.

What You’ll Be Getting Up To
  • Diving into sales forecasts, slicing & dicing them by customer and product, and spotting risks before anyone else even smells them
  • Cleaning and polishing historical data until it shines (the statisticians will love you)
  • Keeping forecasting systems up-to-date and smarter than your average spreadsheet
  • Supporting monthly demand reviews with sales teams translating data into insight like a forecasting whisperer
  • Keeping an eagle eye on SKUs that are overselling, underselling, or generally misbehaving
  • Owning reporting that helps the business hit its targets with precision
  • Pitching in on ad hoc projects that keep the operation future-fit
What You’ll Bring
  • At least 1 year of Demand Planning experience (you know the drill)
  • A brain wired for analytical thinking
  • Experience in consumer goods? Lovely. Not essential, but definitely earns brownie points
  • Comfortable juggling tasks in a buzzing, fast-paced environment
  • Solid data analysis experience
  • Excel skills that would make a formula blush (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivots, logical formulas the whole gang)
  • SAP knowledge = big gold star
  • Strong communication skills you’ll be chatting with stakeholders across the business
Why This Role Rocks

You won’t be a tiny cog in a huge corporate machine. You’ll be actively influencing the direction of a major UK operation, shaping future supply decisions, and becoming a go-to voice in the forecasting universe. This is a role where grow, where your work matters, and where you’ll be surrounded by smart, supportive teammates who take pride in what they do.

If you’re someone who loves clarity, numbers, continuous improvement, and the thrill of getting the forecast just right (or as close as humanly possible), this is your arena.
