Qualifications

  • Fully computer literate with proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in a demand planning/supply chain/logistics environment is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the product range through just-in-time planning.
  • Provide cover for all areas of the Supply Chain team.
  • Manage relationships with most profitable customers.
  • Handle the production, editing, and processing of all orders and invoices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance to maintain acceptable service levels.
  • Manage stock effectively, ensuring accurate reflection in company systems.
  • Liaise with third-party warehouses on stocks and delivery requirements.
  • Collaborate with commercial and marketing departments.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports as required.

Junior Customer Demand Planner

We are seeking a proactive Junior Customer Demand Planner to join our clients dynamic team. This role involves managing customer demand, stocks, and orders for our products across Europe and the UK, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining minimum stock levels. The ideal candidate will be adept at utilising transportation efficiently.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Maintain the product range through just-in-time planning, using all available information to generate accurate forecasts.
  • Provide cover for all areas of the Supply Chain team, including administration tasks, forecasting, and transport.
  • Manage relationships with most profitable customers, proactively seeking new ways to work effectively.
  • Handle the production, editing, and processing of all orders and invoices, ensuring accuracy against supplier, customer, and logistics documentation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring a thorough understanding of production capabilities, lead times, and logistical requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance to maintain acceptable service levels.
  • Manage stock effectively, ensuring accurate reflection in company systems regarding location, value, and quantity.
  • Liaise with third-party warehouses on stocks and delivery requirements.
  • Collaborate with commercial and marketing departments on new product introductions.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Provide cover for other members of the Supply Team as needed, fostering a comprehensive understanding of team operations.
