Demand Planner

At this well‑established manufacturing business, the site is enjoying continued investment due to new contracts being won. As a result, the Operations Manager is looking for a Demand Planner to orchestrate the heartbeat of its supply chain. The successful candidate will be the strategic conductor behind a finely tuned orchestra of purchasing, production, packaging, warehousing and sales.

Responsibilities
  • Craft and execute master production schedules aligned with long‑term forecasts.
  • Lead cross‑functional coordination across departments and geographies.
  • Translate commercial forecasts into operational reality.
  • Balance short‑term responsiveness with long‑term strategic planning.
  • Champion S&OP meetings and communicate risks, wins, and opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Experience in planning and supply chain within manufacturing.
  • Ideally worked in a regulated environment.
  • Strong communicator and influencer across all levels.
  • Analytical, organised, and relentlessly proactive.
  • Ideally ERP/MRP expertise and export logistics know‑how.
  • Influence high‑level strategy and decision‑making.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, regulated, and fast‑paced environment.
