Job description
Responsibilities
  • Create Demand Forecast for all UK Channels including detail such as Free of Charge, Promotions and Marketing Samples Forecast
  • Interpret and analyse data and articulate recommendations which will ensure financial targets are achieved
  • Build and maintain a collaborative culture with key internal stakeholders to achieve consensus for demand on base and promotional sales
  • Deliver a robust forecast for NPD launches and Limited Editon Collections
  • Ensure full end to end process of Demand Planning cycle is followed including – but not limited to – forecast, alignment and confirmation
  • Identify and quantify opportunities and risks and drive accountability with the channels heads
  • Proactively identify, communicate and follow up on significant trends and demand changes to achieve optimum Inventory levels
  • Regularly check for excess and obsolete finished goods risks, report and work with other functional teams to clear and prevent further occurrences
  • Measure impact of forecast accuracy and other S&OP metrics – report and communicate achievements and action plans
  • Play a key executional role in monthly S&OP process for the UK and drive the continued evolution of the UK S&OP process
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for S&OP, inventory management, process and systems to develop efficiencies and support future growth
  • Provide continuous summaries of key performance indicators within departments of responsibility relating to sales, stock, net revenue versus budget.
  • Key Partner with Operations & Supply Chain Teams for day to day fulfilment of demand
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role within a consumer goods business
  • Experience in demand planning in global environment preferably involving long lead time and Asia manufacturing
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to focus on both detail and big picture.
  • Persuasive communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Enthusiastic and hands-on style, self-reliant and able to build and maintain collaborative relationships
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential and preferable to have experience of Demand Planning Software (. BlueYonder)
