Qualifications

  • Prior Planning experience in a Food/FMCG environment or relevant degree/business qualification.
  • Strong work ethic, with a desire to develop self and exceed expectations.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage workload efficiently.
  • Experience of MRP systems is an advantage.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely delivery of forecast information to customers.
  • Maintain forecast requirements in planning system.
  • Log weekly KPI data.
  • Identify improvements for optimal stock placement.
  • Complete daily tasks while ensuring accurate system updates.

Grade: O Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (37.5hrs a week) Location: DHL Tradeteam, Eastern Avenue, Stretton, Burton upon Trent DE13 0BB

We're now looking for a Demand Planner responsible for analysing stock and customer sales data, managing and reviewing forecasts and creating and distributing various daily/weekly reports, with a focus on our customers and planning team receiving the best possible support. You will be promoting Tradeteam in the daily responsibilities with your impeccable customer service through direct communication with the supply planning teams & customers.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
  • Ensuring timely and successful delivery of forecast information to internal and external customers.
  • Maintaining forecast requirements in our planning system.
  • Logging weekly KPI data to highlight key trends and successes.
  • Identifying possible improvement on end to end supply chain solutions to enable optimal stock placement and minimise wastage.
  • Completion of daily tasks and ad-hoc requests whilst ensuring system requirements are up to date, aligned and accurate in a timely manner
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

  • Experience of MRP systems an advantage.
  • MS Office Package - Advanced level in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI is preferred.
  • are able to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.
